Drop coated breeds can be a struggle for some groomers resulting in a choppy finish. Often times, we choose shorter trims because it’s easier to get a smoother finish, but fear not! In this session, Jonathan David will explain and demonstrate his well-known scissor over comb technique with thinning shears to erase scissor marks and choppiness and blend seamlessly. He will show you how to combine the use of clippers with guard combs and thinning shears to achieve a beautiful finish on any length drop coat that even the most discerning customer will love.
