Q: HOW IS GROOM’D DIFFERENT FROM ATLANTA PET FAIR & CONFERENCE?

A: GROOM’D, formerly Atlanta Pet Fair & Conference, is the same gathering you know and love — and still the best place to find the latest trends in professional grooming.

Q: WHEN IS REGISTRATION EXPECTED TO OPEN?

Q: WHERE IS GROOM’D LOCATED?

A: GROOM’D will be held at the Georgia International Convention Center, 2000 Convention Center Concourse, College Park, GA 30337.

Q: IS CASH ACCEPTED AT THE EVENT?

A: The Georgia International Convention Center will not accept cash for parking or concessions. Only major credit cards (except Discover Card) will be accepted. The registration desk will not accept cash. Only major credit cards will be accepted. Many exhibitors accept cash as well as major credit cards for product sales.

Q: HOW MUCH IS A TRADE SHOW FLOOR PASS?

A: Three pass types will be available for the 2024 event:

  • 3-Day Trade Show Floor Pass (Friday-Sunday) – $30
  • Weekend Trade Show Floor Pass (Saturday & Sunday) – $20
  • Sunday Trade Show Floor Pass (Sunday Only) – $10

If you purchase an education pass, a special session, or a grooming contest, a 3-Day floor pass is provided for free.

Q: IS PARKING AVAILABLE?

A: Parking is available at the Georgia International Convention Center at the below rates. The automated payment system accepts only major credit cards and debit cards (Discover and cash are NOT accepted). Parking fees do not include in and out privileges. Parking rates are subject to change.

DAILY PARKING RATES:

  • Vehicle: $10
  • Vehicle with a trailer: $20
  • RV 20’ or less: $20
  • RV 21’ or more: $35

OVERNIGHT PARKING*:

  • Vehicle/truck/trailer: $35
  • RV: $50

*Overnight parking must be prepaid.  Fees for overnight parking are based on the number of nights per stay.  Large trucks and RV’s enter through Parking Lot E’s side locking gate.  Please note there are no RV hookups.  To prepay for parking or for questions regarding parking, please contact Diane Walcott, GICC Parking Manager, at 404-791-4236 or by email.  Click here to link to GICC parking information.

Q: CAN I BRING IN BEVERAGES AND/OR FOOD?

A: Unfortunately, outside food and drinks are not permitted in the venue. Concessions will be open during show hours for food and beverage selections.

Q: CAN I BRING MY PET?

A: No Personal Pets are allowed at the show. Only pets utilized for demos or contests are allowed.

Q: WILL I RECEIVE MY BADGES BEFORE THE SHOW?

A: Badges are not mailed out prior to the event. Email confirmations with QR codes will be emailed to registered attendees before the show. You simply need to print your email confirmation and bring it to the badge scan stations for expedited entry.

Q: ARE PHOTOS ALLOWED IN THE EXHIBIT HALL?

A: Taking photos of booths or products is not allowed at GROOM’D.

Q: ARE RECORDING DEVICES ALLOWED IN SEMINARS?

A: There are no voice or visual recording devices allowed in classrooms.

Q: ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED ON THE TRADE SHOW FLOOR?

A: Children are permitted at GROOM’D. Children of walking age must be registered and badged while on show site. Children 15 and under must always be under adult supervision and will not be permitted on the exhibit hall show floor during exhibitor move-in or move-out hours. Lost children announcements will not be made.

Q: ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED IN SEMINARS?

A: Children must be 16 or older and registered to attend seminars. Lost children announcements will not be made.

Q: ARE THERE REFUNDS AVAILABLE IF I CAN NO LONGER ATTEND?

A: Refunds are available if a cancelation is made by February 16, 2024. For all refund/cancelation requests, please contact Eric Moore at eric@wpamail.org.
