PET RELEAF, PRESIDENT AND CO-FOUNDER
Steve Smith is President and Co-Founder of Pet Releaf, the industry’s pioneer and market leader in CBD products for pets. In addition to his role at Pet Releaf, Steve is on the Board of Directors of the U.S. Hemp Roundtable, the group that assisted in drafting and passing the 2018 Farm Bill, and also provided the seed funding for the U.S. Hemp Authority Certification program. As part of his work with the U.S. Hemp Authority, Steve also sits on the FDA Committee, the New Member Vetting Committee, and the Marketing Committee.
Prior to founding Pet Releaf, Steve spent 14 years as the President of Playa Bonita Consulting, where he was the owner/developer of multiple successful real estate developments and projects in the Treasure Coast area of Florida. Steve began his career as a CPA, working as a Senior Auditor for Deloitte before moving in house as a corporate controller for Learning Technologies Ltd. A Florida State University graduate, Steve received his BS in Accounting with a minor in International Business.
